Abstract

ABSTRAK Shopee Express is a fast and safe delivery service for goods or packages between users sent by Shopee driver partners, as well as shipping goods or packages purchased on the Shopee marketplace (Shopee application). Users of goods delivery services need to get protection regulated in agreements between business actors and consumers. Until now there are still problems in the process of shipping goods. For this reason, consumers are given legal protection by Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. Formulation of the problem: 1) How is the implementation of compensation for goods at the Shopee Express warehouse for lost or damaged goods?, 2) What is the legal protection for Shopee Express consumers if the goods sent are lost or damaged? This type of research is Juridical Sociology. This data collection technique was obtained through interviews and document studies. The results of the study: 1) The form of implementation provided by Shopee Express is to provide predetermined requirements if the goods are lost or damaged, 2) Related to the safety of consumer goods, Shopee Express provides a form of protection to consumers, in the form of compensation in the form of cash or to Shopee Pay consumers.
