ABSTRACT Notaries must act honestly, independently, accurately, impartially, and be responsible for all legal actions that are carried out within the scope of their duties and authorities in making deed. The formulation of the problem in this study (1) What is the responsibility of the Notary in resolving the problem of missing minutes of the deed due to delays (2) What is the legal implicit for the Notary due to the delay which results in reduced minutes of the deed. This study uses a sociological juridical method. Source of data in the form of primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were interviews and document studies, and data analysis techniques used qualitative methods. The results of this study are (1) The responsibility of the Notary in resolving the loss of Minutes of the Deed is divided into Civil, Criminal and Administrative responsibilities. (2) The legal implication for a Notary who due to his negligence results in the loss of the Minutes of the Deed is that he may be subject to sanctions in the form of temporary dismissal from his position as a Notary because he has violated the obligations and prohibitions of office.References
