ABSTRAK Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) make a big contribution to the Indonesian economy, considering that Indonesia is the second largest country of origin for migrant workers in ASEAN, this can be seen from the still high number of unemployed people in Indonesia and the lack of job opportunities provided, just the distribution of migrant workers. Not in line with the protection provided by the government, every year around 450,000 Indonesian citizens (WNI) go abroad as workers, 70% of whom are women. In terms of placement of migrant workers, problems often arise, seeing that Indonesia and Malaysia have agreed to make an MoU. Problem Formulation: 1. How are Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia regulated according to Article 10 of the Memorandum of Understanding? 2. How is the juridical study regarding the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers in the Domestic Sector in Malaysia reviewed from Article 10 of the 2022 MoU?, Types of research used by normative law, data sources with secondary data, data collection techniques for document studies and data in qualitative analysis. Research results (1) Regulation of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia in Article 10 of the MoU states that PMI may communicate with their families, and Malaysia is obliged to facilitate consular functions related to PMI without delay. However, the rules and provisions of Article 10 have not been implemented optimally because Malaysia There are still many violations of Article 10 so that the problems of migrant workers cannot be resolved properly. (2) Juridical Study on the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers in the Domestic Sector in Malaysia which was carried out by both countries in providing protection to PMI using the One Chanel system, where in The implementation has not gone well, because the Malaysian side is still violating the agreement stipulated in the MoU.References
