PELAKSANAAN PEMBUATAN KARTU TANDA PENDUDUK ELEKTRONIK (E-KTP) SEBAGAI BAGIAN PELAYANAN PUBLIK DI DINAS KEPENDUDUKAN DAN PENCATATAN SIPIL KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT

Abstract

Article 63 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 24 of 2013 states: Indonesian citizens and people who have a permanent stay permit who are 17 years old and have been married or have been married are required to have an E-KTP. The problem statement is as follows: 1). Implementation of Making Electronic Identity Cards as part of Public Services at the Office of the Population and Civil Registration Office of West Pasaman Regency? 2). Obstacles that occur in the implementation of making Electronic Identity Cards as part of the Services at the West Pasaman Regency Population and Civil Registration Office? 3). Efforts to overcome obstacles in the implementation of making Electronic Population cards as part of public services at the West Pasaman Regency Population and Civil Registration office? The type of research used is sociological juridical: the data sources used are primary data and secondary data; data collection techniques using document studies and interviews; and qualitative analysis. Research results: 1). The implementation of making Electronic Identity Cards has not run smoothly in service. 2). Obstacles that arise: E-KTP packaging equipment is damaged a lot, related to expensive equipment budgets, the quality of Human Resources that need to be improved. 3). Efforts made: to rejuvenate E-KTP equipment, allocation of funds needed and provide socialization of requirements and procedures in making Electronic Identity Cards.
