Abstract

The Civil Service Police Unit is a regional apparatus established to enforce Regional Regulations and Regional Head Regulations, maintain public order and peace, and provide community protection based on Article 1 Number (1) of Government Regulation Number 16 of 2018 concerning Civil Service Police Units. The control of street vendors violating regulations in the Padang Beach tourist area is regulated in Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2005 concerning Public Order and Community Peace. Problem Formulation: 1) What is the role of the Padang City Satpol PP in relocating street vendors in the Padang Beach tourist area? 2) What are the obstacles encountered by the Padang City PP satpo in dealing with street vendors in the Padang Beach tourist area?. Research results: 1) The role of the Padang City Satpol PP in relocating street vendors in the Padang Beach tourist area is to establish a Padang Beach task force and create a new innovation in the form of an application. 2) The obstacles encountered by the Padang City Satpol PP in dealing with street vendors in the Padang Beach tourist area are the absence of specific regulations, ineffective enforcement, lack of vendor discipline, and limited relocation space.
