Abstract

The social security administering body or what is abbreviated as BPJS is divided into two, namely BPJS Employment and BPJS Health. Based on Law Number 40 of 2004 concerning the National Social Security System and Law Number 24 of 2011 concerning the Social Security Administering Body (BPJS) as implementing regulations for Law Number 40 of 2004, Problem Formulation: 1) How is Service Protection, Participation and payment of contributions regulated by BPJS Employment in Indonesia? 2) How is Service Protection, Membership and Contribution Payment regulated in BPJS Employment in Indonesia? 3) How does BPJS Employment compare with BPJS Health in Indonesia? This research uses a normative juridical analysis approach. In this research, the data source used is secondary data. The type of research used is normative juridical; data sources come from secondary data consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials; data collection techniques using document study; the collected data was analyzed qualitatively. Conclusions 1) BPJS Employment has a broader scope regarding social security for workers in Indonesia. 2) BPJS Health has a scope that guarantees all Indonesian people of all ages.
