PELAKSANAAN FUNGSI DPRD DALAM PENGAWASAN ANGGARAN TERHADAP GEMPA BUMI DI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT TAHUN 2022

Abstract

The West Pasaman Regency DPRD acts as a working partner for the regional government. Its functions are legislation, budget and supervision, the DPRD supervisory function is to supervise the budget for the earthquake in West Pasaman Regency in 2022 and see the extent to which budget supervision is carried out for victims of natural disasters in 2022. The problem formulation in the research is 1). What are the DPRD responsibilities in monitoring the budget for the earthquake in West Pasaman Regency in 2022? 2). What are the DPRD's obstacles in monitoring the budget for the earthquake in West Pasaman Regency in 2022? 3). What are the DPRD's efforts in monitoring the budget for the earthquake in West Pasaman Regency in 2022? The research method uses sociological juridical, primary data sources and secondary data, interview and document data collection techniques, data analysis using qualitative. The results of this research are 1). Form of responsibility of the DPRD in monitoring the 2022 earthquake budget, by evaluating the budget, holding meetings with BPBD, monitoring programs, monitoring transparency and accountability 2). The DPRD's main obstacles in budget supervision are distance from location, lack of communication, inappropriate budget, inadequate supervisory function, lack of member expertise, limited information 3). The efforts made by the DPRD include picking up victims with aid cars, re-verifying them, re-proposing the budget, appealing to DPRD members, providing understanding to DPRD members, holding meetings with other institutions.
