Abstract

ABSTRAK The responsibility of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) branch of Padang City against default in goods delivery services is certainly a consideration for people who want to use goods transportation services. The formulation of the problems in this study are: (1) What are the forms of default in the delivery of goods carried out by PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Padang City branch against consumers? (2) How is the regulation of responsibility and implementation of responsibility for the default in the delivery of goods carried out by PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Padang City branch against consumers? (3) How are the obstacles and settlement efforts for the default in the delivery of goods carried out by PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Padang City branch against consumers?. This study uses sociological juridical research. The results of this study are: (1) Forms of default of delivery of goods carried out by PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Padang City branch against consumers (2) Responsibility arrangements and implementation of responsibility for the default of delivery of goods carried out by PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Padang City branch against consumers (3) Obstacles and settlement efforts for the default of delivery of goods carried out by PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Padang City branch against consumers. The findings of this study will explain the legal relationship arising from the transportation agreement and the obligations of PT Pos Indonesia as a provider of goods delivery services.
