PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM BAGI PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS DALAM KONSULTASI MEDIS JARAK JAUH (TELEMEDICINE) DI RSUD DR RASIDIN PADANG

Abstract

ABSTRACT Telemedicine is a provision of health services that involves information and communication technology which includes diagnosis, treatment, prevention of disease and injury. In providing health services using telemedicine, medical personnel must be able to understand the rights and obligations in using telemedicine as stated in Article 17 Paragraphs (1) and (2) and Article 18 Paragraphs (1) and (2) of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Intermediate Telemedicine. The research results are, 1) What is the form of legal protection for patients in the practice of remote consultations (Telemedicine)? 2) What are the obstacles at RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang in handling long-distance consultation practices (Telemedicine)? 3) What are the efforts of RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang in dealing with obstacles to the practice of long distance consultations (Telemedicine)? Research Results: 1) The form of legal protection for patients is in the form of making an agreement between the patient and medical personnel and providing counseling to patients. 2) Obstacles Medical personnel cannot ensure the accuracy of the diagnosis, doctors are not always connected with patients and there is no application. 3) Efforts are made in the form of evaluating updates on patient complaints, doctors conducting training for nurses and recording patient complaints when using telemedicine using SITB.
