PELAKSANAAN TUGAS DAN KEWENANGAN DINAS SOSIAL DALAM PENANGGULANGAN KEMISKINAN DI NAGARI GUNUNG BUNGKUK LUMPO KECAMATAN IV JURAI KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstract

One of the tasks and authorities of the Department of Social Affairs of Pesisir Selatan District is to alleviate poverty. Problem Formulation: 1) What are the stages carried out by the Department of Social Affairs in poverty alleviation in Nagari Gunung Bungkuk Lumpo, IV Jurai Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan District? 2) What are the obstacles faced by the Department of Social Affairs in poverty alleviation in Nagari Gunung Bungku Lumpo, IV Jurai Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan District? 3) What efforts are made by the Department of Social Affairs to overcome poverty in Nagari Gunung Bungkuk Lumpo, IV Jurai Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan District? This research is a socio-legal study. Data sources use primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques include document studies and interviews, with data analyzed using qualitative analysis. Research results: 1) Stages carried out by the Department of Social Affairs include implementing the Family Hope Program, Social Assistance, Free BPJS, and Direct Cash Assistance. 2) Obstacles faced include Invalid Population Data, Field Verification, Limited Human Resources, Technological Constraints in Community Welfare Programs, Community Non-Participation, and Geographical Factors. 3) Efforts made by the Department of Social Affairs focus on enhancing cooperation and the skills of Program Facilitators.
