PELAKSANAAN PEMBAGIAN PEWARISAN ANAK ANGKAT PADA MASYARAKAT HUKUM ADAT DI KABUPATEN SAROLANGUN

Abstract

ABSTRACT Distribution of inheritance to adopted children is very important so as not to cause problems. However, there are still many parents who have not made an appointment without going through the courts and there is a lack of data collection in Sarolangun district. Problem formulation (1) How is the implementation of inheritance distribution for adopted children according to Sarolangun Customary Law (2) What obstacles are there in the distribution of inheritance for children according to Sarolangun Customary Law? (3) Efforts to resolve inheritance according to Sarolangun Customary Law . The type of research used is the juridical-sociological method. Then primary data sources and secondary data are also used. The data collection techniques used were document studies and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out qualitatively Research results: (1.)Distribution of inheritance or inheritance to children, namely grants. (2.) Obstacles in the distribution of inheritance in the Sarolangun Customary Law, adopted children who do not follow the rules for distribution of inheritance in accordance with the provisions of the applicable Customary Law, parents who do not adopt their children through the district court and are not registered, the lack of public knowledge of the applicable Customs, and the lack of the government's role in society regarding child adoption. (3) Efforts to resolve the inheritance of adopted children in Sarolangun customary law, socialization of traditional community leaders to the community regarding the distribution of inheritance or inheritance to adopted children.
