PERANAN DP3AP2KB DALAM PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP ANAK KORBAN EKSPLOITASI EKONOMI DI KOTA PADANG

Abstract

DP3AP2KB is regulated in Padang Mayor Regulation Number 49 of 2022 concerning the position, organizational structure, duties, functions and work procedures of the Department of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning. Therefore, this research discusses the problem formulation: 1) What is the role of the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service in preventing economic exploitation of children in Padang City? 2) What obstacles does the Child Empowerment and Protection Service encounter in preventing economic exploitation in Padang City? Types of sociological juridical research. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, document study and observation. Data was analyzed qualitatively. The research results show that. 1) The Empowerment Service carries out outreach to the community regarding the fulfillment of children's rights which must be fulfilled, in addition to carrying out outreach, providing rehabilitation for children who are victims of economic exploitation and providing education so that the child knows the importance of education, 2) For obstacles from the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service, there is a lack of awareness parents and society regarding the fulfillment of children's rights, which is allowing children to earn money on the street.
