PERAN KEPOLISIAN KOTA PARIAMAN DALAM MENANGGULANGI FENOMENA LGBT (LESBIAN, GAY, BISEKSUAL, DAN TRANSGENDER)

Abstract

LGBT is regulated in law no. 1 of 1946 concerning the criminal code article 292. (1) the case is that A lesbian woman who looks like a man is suspected by suspect AM of having a same- sex romantic relationship with victim AF. Problem formulation: 1) what is the rolebof the police in tackling the LGBT phenomenon? 2) what obstacles do the police face in tackling the LGBT phenomenon in Pariaman city? Sosiological juridical research. Data sources are primary data and secondary data. Interview data collection techniques and document study. Qualitative data analysis. Research results. (1) the role of the Pariaman city police in overcoming the LGBT( lesbian, Gay, Biseksual, dan Transgender) phenomenon by conducting outreach to the people of Pariaman city and providing guidance to perpetrators of victims that LGBT acts are prohibited acts and directed or fostered acts that are better. (2) the obstacles faced by the police in dealing with the LGBT phenomenon are the lack of response from the community regarding LGBT cases, LGBT perpetrators are very secretive and there is no anti LGBT organization in the city of Pariaman.
