Abstract

ABSTRACT Nagari Traditional Density in Article 1 Number 6 of West Sumatra Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2018 concerning Nagari is a niniak mamak institution that has existed and been inherited from generation to generation throughout Minangkabau customs, whose function is to maintain the preservation of customs and resolve disputes related to sako and pusako. Problem formulation: (1) how to implement the authority of the Solok City Nagari Traditional Meeting (2) how to resolve sako pusako disputes through the Solok City Nagari Traditional Meeting. This type of research is empirical. The data used is primary and secondary data, so in this research the author collected data through interviews, document studies and literature studies which were then analyzed qualitatively. Resoult (1) The implementation of the authority of the Solok City Nagari Customary Meeting runs in accordance with what is stated in the AD/ART of KAN, namely the authority to manage customary law and customary matters in the Nagari, giving legal status according to Customary Law to matters relating to the assets of the Nagari community, and resolving customary cases (2) Resolving sako-pusako disputes is resolved by means of deliberation to reach a consensus bajanjang naiak batanggo turun.
