PERANAN DINAS KESEHATAN KABUPATEN MERANGIN DALAM MENDUKUNG ELIMINASI PENULARAN HIV, SIFILIS, DAN HEPATITIS B DARI IBU HAMIL KE ANAK DI KABUPATEN MERANGIN

Interventions to reduce HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B are carried out by the Ministry of Health through the Minister of Health Regulation Number 52 of 2017 concerning Elimination of HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B Transmission from mother to child. In Jambi Province, it is known that the number of positive HIV/AIDS cases tends to increase. The problems discussed are: 1.What is the role of the Merangin District Health Office; 2. What are the obstacles of the Merangin District Health Office; 3. What are the efforts of the Merangin District Health Office in overcoming obstacles in supporting the elimination of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B. This research uses the method of empirical juridical approach. Conclusions: 1. The Merangin District Health Office is less than optimal in implementing the triple elimination program (utilization of reagents, program integration); 2. The obstacles faced are: human resources are not evenly distributed and there is no special budget (still part of the budget for pregnant women services), and the level of public understanding is still lacking; 3. Efforts that will been made are socialization, guidance and assistance in clinical governance; coordination with related cross-programs and cross-sectors; increase human resource capacity.References
