PERAN DINAS KESEHATAN DALAM UPAYA PENURUNAN ANGKA KEMATIAN IBU (AKI) DAN ANGKA KEMATIAN BAYI (AKB) DI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT

Abstract

The MMR in West Pasaman Regency has increased from 18 people in 2020, increasing in 2021 to 31 people and in 2022 15 people. The IMR in West Pasaman Regency in 2019 was 94 people, in 2020 there were 82 people, an increase in 2021 to 95 people and an increase again in 2022 to 109 people. This research is socio juridical research, primary and secondary data sources.. Research results: 1) The role of the Health Service in efforts to reduce MMR and IMR is not all that is carried out by the Health Service only referring to the indicator guide for nutrition and health programs for mothers and children issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, 2) Obstacles for the Health Service in reducing MMR and IMR there is no role from influential parties. 3) The Health Service's efforts to reduce MMR and IMR include promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects. Integrating reproductive health services with other health services such as nutrition, health promotion and PTM and P2P. assistance by a team of specialist doctors in obstetrics and gynecology and pediatric specialists in maternal and child health services, emergencies and maternal neonatal referral systems.
