Abstract

In daily life, many female workers work to meet the needs of life and family, including in the health sector. Article 49 paragraph (2) of Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights, which explains that women have the right to special protection in the performance of their work or profession against matters that can threaten their safety and or health related to women's reproductive functions. The formulation of the problem (1) How is the implementation of the protection of female nurse workers at night at M. Zein Hospital Painan City?, (2) What are the obstacles to the implementation of the protection of female nurse workers at night at M. Zein Hospital Painan City?, and (3) What are the efforts made to overcome the obstacles in the implementation of the protection of female workers at night at M. Zein Hospital Painan City? This type of research is sociological data sources from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques through interviews and document studies. The data was analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study (1) The implementation of the protection of female nurse workers at night at M.Zein Hospital, Painan City, concluded that it is still not good enough to ensure the feasibility of the rights of female workers at the hospital. (2) Obstacles to the implementation of the protection of female nursing workers, workers who do not know their rights. (3) Efforts to overcome it by conducting socialization related to workers' rights.
