Abstract

Abstract Agricultural land profit sharing agreement is a form of agreement in which a person who has rights to agricultural land (owner) gives permission to another person (cultivator) to manage the land, regulated in Law Number 2 of 1960 concerning Profit Sharing Agreements. Problem formulation 1) How is the implementation of agricultural land profit sharing agreements in Sungai Hangat Village, Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency? 2) What are the legal obstacles faced in the implementation of agricultural land profit sharing agreements in Sungai Hangat Village, Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency? 3) What legal protection can be given to the parties in agricultural land profit sharing agreements in Sungai Hangat Village, Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency? The type of research used in this study is sociological legal research (socio-legal research). The data used include primary data and secondary data. The data was obtained through interviews and field studies. From the results of the study it was concluded that 1) The agricultural profit sharing agreement in Sungai Hangat Village, Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency was carried out verbally 2) The obstacles in implementing the agreement were the lack of public knowledge regarding laws and regulations 3) Legal protection for agricultural land profit sharing agreements in Sungai Hangat Village is based on customary law,
