The establishment of the Village-Owned Enterprise in Pasar Baru Village, Bayang District, Pesisir Selatan Regency was not in accordance with existing regulations, namely Regent Regulation Number 18 of 2017 concerning the Establishment and Management of Village-Owned Enterprises, which is correct and therefore the Inspectorate will check the management of Village-Owned Enterprises. The research method used in this study is sociological research. The data collection techniques used are document studies and interviews. Pesisir Selatan Inspectorate and Village Head. The results of the study on the role of the regional inspectorate in supervising Village-Owned Enterprises in Pasar Baru Village, Bayang District are less than optimal. Supervision carried out by the inspectorate does exist and is also in accordance with applicable provisions, supervision is carried out after there is development from regular audits or when there is a request from law enforcement officers (Prosecutor's Office and Police). However, after the Village-Owned Enterprise is no longer actively operating, the inspectorate no longer obtains valid data information.References
