Abstract

ABSTRACT Article 1 of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 67 of 2015 regarding the Implementation of Elderly Health Services defines an elderly individual as one who is sixty years of age or older. According to the problem's formulation: What constitutes the legal protection for health care for the elderly? What challenges are encountered in ensuring legal protection for health care for the elderly? What measures are implemented to address the challenges encountered in ensuring legal protection for health care for the elderly? Juridical sociology is the research approach used. Primary and secondary sources of information are used, and methods such as interviews and observations are employed, to gather this data. Qualitative analysis is performed on the data.: The legal protection of aged health services focuses on safeguarding labor requirements and establishing security, as well as addressing physical, social, and health needs. The issues present in orphanages encompass labor requirements, building security, physical necessities, social demands, and health concerns.
