PERANAN PUSAT PELAYANAN TERPADU PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN DAN ANAK (P2TP2A) TERHADAP ANAK KORBAN KEKERASAN SEKSUAL DI KOTA PARIAMAN

Abstract

Sexual violence is any form of action that leads to a person's sexuality by using force against one of the parties. Victims of sexual violence against children and women are increasingly occurring. Based on Pariaman City Regional Regulation Number 13 of 2013 concerning Protection of Women and Children from Acts of Violence, the integrated service center for empowering women and children (P2TP2A) has the task of assisting and protecting children and women victims of sexual violence. Problem formulation: 1) What is the role of P2TP2A in protecting and guiding victims of sexual violence cases in Pariaman City? 2) What are the obstacles faced by P2TP2A in protecting and guiding victims of sexual violence cases in Pariaman City? 3) What are the efforts of P2TP2A in overcoming obstacles to protect and guide victims of sexual violence in Pariaman City?. This research uses a type of sociological juridical research. Research results: 1) The role of P2TP2A in Pariaman City is the provision of counseling and psychological services, legal assistance, provision of temporary accommodation, education and counseling, and community education. 2) In carrying out its duties P2TP2A experienced many obstacles that occurred, including due to family factors from the victim's family. The victim's family feels suspicious because they are dealing with new people and sometimes even feel distrustful and do not understand what assistance to victims is. 3) P2TP2A's efforts in overcoming obstacles to protect and guide victims of sexual violence in Pariaman City are to raise the trust of the victim's family in P2TP2A.
