IMPLEMENTASI PENDISTRIBUSIAN ZAKAT PRODUKTIF PADA BADAN AMIL ZAKAT NASIONAL KOTA SOLOK DI KECAMATAN LUBUK SIKARAH

Abstract

ABSTRACT Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam and a form of worship to Allah SWT. In Indonesia, zakat is distributed through the National Zakat Agency, which is formed by the government. Productive zakat is zakat that is used to encourage economic development for the poor. However, in its implementation, this program still faces challenges, such as lack of socialization and the unavailability of an adequate mustahik database, so that the distribution of productive zakat has not run optimally. The formulation of the research problem includes: 1) How is the distribution of productive zakat in Lubuk Sikarah District? 2) What are the obstacles to the distribution of productive zakat in Lubuk Sikarah District? 3) How are the efforts to overcome the obstacles to the distribution of productive zakat in Lubuk Sikarah District? The study uses a sociological legal approach. Data sources consist of primary and secondary data, data collection techniques using interview techniques and document studies and then analyzed qualitatively. Research results: 1) The distribution of productive zakat in Lubuk Sikarah District is carried out through administrative selection, interviews, and surveys. 2) The obstacles faced are the large number of mustahik who apply, limited BAZNAS personnel, and the lack of operational vehicles. 3) How to overcome obstacles BAZNAS provides skills to mustahik, diverts assistance to those who do not meet the requirements, and collaborates with agencies in Solok City to increase the effectiveness of productive zakat distribution.
