ABSTRACT Article 5 of Law Number 27 of 2022 explains in detail the personal data of residents that must be protected including specific and general Personal Data. Specific Personal Data includes: Health Data and information, Biometric Data, Genetic Data, Health Records, Child Data, Personal financial data and, or other data in accordance with regulations. Furthermore, general Personal Data includes: Full name, Gender, Nationality, Religion, Marital Status and Personal data combined to identify a person. Problem Formulation: 1) How is the Legal Protection of Personal Data of Maxim Consumer Users in Padang City? 2) How is the Implementation of Anticipatory Actions for the Protection of Personal Data of Maxim Users in Padang City?. Type of sociological legal research, Type of Data and Data Sources, Primary Data and Secondary Data, Conclusion 1) Companies such as Maxim have a responsibility to protect consumers such as: Transparent Providing, Securing Data and Providing Complaint Mechanisms. 2) Steps to protect the personal data of Maxim consumers in Padang City, such as: Educating Maxim Users, Monitoring Maxim Application Activities, Providing Complaint Channels, Conducting Periodic Security Audits, Using a Robust Digital Security System, Limiting Access to Personal Data, Providing a Transparent Privacy PolicyReferences
