Abstract

ABSTRAK Basically, business actors have a responsibility for visitors, but this responsibility is taken over by the Tourism Office. Problem Formulation: 1) What is the responsibility of the Tourism Office for visitor accidents at Carocok Painan Beach? 2) What are the obstacles of the Tourism Office in providing responsibility for visitor accidents at Carocok Painan Beach? 3) What are the efforts of the Tourism Office in providing responsibility for visitor accidents at Carocok Painan Beach? This type of research is sociological juridical. Data sources consist of primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews and document studies. The results of the study are 1) The responsibility of the Tourism Office for visitor accidents on Carocok Painan beach is to assist in the management of insurance, medical expenses and to be taken or treated at the hospital for treatment, escorting visitors who have an accident to their hometown, increasing cooperation between business actors and the Tourism Office. 2) The obstacles of the Tourism Office in providing responsibility for visitor accidents on Carocok Painan beach are the lack of adequate medical facilities, lack of health posts and the lack of availability of medicines. 3) The Tourism Office's efforts in providing responsibility for visitor accidents at Carocok Painan Beach are to establish health posts or emergency clinics around the beach area, requiring every business actor to cooperate with the Tourism Office in managing tourist safety.
