The implementation of employment agreements within the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector poses significant challenges in ensuring the protection of workers rights, particularly with respect to wages and benefits. This study formulates three main research problems: (1) how the employment agreement system is implemented by Alva Fashion for its MSME workers; (2) what obstacles are encountered by Alva Fashion in guaranteeing workers rights to wages and benefits; and (3) what efforts are undertaken by Alva Fashion to address these obstacles. This research adopts a socio-legal method, employing primary data derived from interviews and direct observations with the owner and employees of Alva Fashion, complemented by secondary data from relevant literature and statutory regulations. The findings reveal that: (1) the employment relationship at Alva Fashion is established informally without written contracts, with wages paid on a weekly basis and the provision of meal allowances and holiday bonuses (THR) in an unstructured manner; (2) the primary obstacles include financial constraints, the absence of a written work system, and limited legal awareness among both the employer and employees; and (3) efforts undertaken consist of maintaining consistency in wage payments, providing allowances on a regular basis, managing work schedules, and planning for basic administrative record-keeping.
