TANGGUNG JAWAB HUKUM PERAWAT DALAM PEMBERIAN PELAYANAN MEDIS DI RUMAH SAKIT ISLAM SITI RAHMAH KOTA PADANG

Abstract

Article 28H Paragraph (1) and Article 34 Paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia emphasize that every citizen has the right to adequate health services, and the state is responsible for providing them. 1) What are the legal responsibilities of nurses in providing medical services at Siti Rahmah Hospital in Padang City? 2) What are the obstacles for nurses in providing medical services at RSI Siti Rahmah Padang City? 3) What are the efforts of nurses in providing medical services at RSI Siti Rahmah Padang City? This type of research is sociological legal research. The data sources used are Primary Data and Secondary Data. The data collection technique used is through interviews. Data analysis used is qualitative. The results of the study are 1) Nurses are legally responsible for providing services that are safe, professional, and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), professional codes of ethics, and the provisions of Law Number 38 of 2014 concerning Nursing. 2) The obstacles faced include limited human resources, lack of facilities and infrastructure, and psychological pressure due to legal risks. 3) Nurses' efforts to overcome these obstacles include holistic nursing services, education to patients and families, and interprofessional collaboration. Accurate documentation is also an important part of legal protection for nurses.
