IMPLEMENTAS PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP KESEHATAN MENTAL KELAYAN PANTI SOSIAL KARYA WANITA ANDAM DEWI DI KABUPATEN SOLOK

Based on Article 75 paragraph (1) of Indonesian Law No. 17 of 2023, a former prostitute at PSKW
Andam Dewi Solok committed suicide during social rehabilitation. This study examines the
implementation of legal protection for the mental health of PSKW clients, the obstacles faced, and
efforts to overcome them. Using socio-legal research with primary and secondary data collected through
interviews, observations, and questionnaires, qualitative analysis was conducted. Results show legal
protection is not optimal due to internal factors (human resources, infrastructure, clients) and external
factors (social stigma). PSKW’s efforts include requesting additional staff and improving facilities.
