Indonesia has established legal instruments to combat corruption through Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes, which was later amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes, as well as through international commitments under the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC). This study aims to: (1) analyze the ratio decidendi of the tin corruption case in the District Court Decision Number: 70/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN.Jkt.Pst. and the High Court Decision Number: 1/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PT DKI, and (2) analyze the application of sentencing in the tin corruption case in the District Court Decision Number: 70/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN.Jkt.Pst. and the High Court Decision Number: 1/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PT DKI.This research uses normative legal research with primary, secondary, and tertiary data sources. The data collection technique is document study, and the data are analyzed using qualitative analysis.The results of this study show: (1) the ratio decidendi of the tin corruption case in the District Court Decision Number: 70/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN.Jkt.Pst. and the High Court Decision Number: 1/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PT DKI, and (2) the application of sentencing for the tin corruption crime in the District Court Decision Number: 70/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN.Jkt.Pst. and the High Court Decision Number: 1/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PT DKI.
