Abstract

The Village Head Office is designed to ensure that every citizen receives orderly and friendly services, in accordance with the mandate of Law No. 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services, which starts from welcoming officers, systematically recording requests, carefully examining files, processing documents through a clear flow, to delivering results on time, and accompanied by an explanation of procedures and service standards to the public so that there are no misunderstandings in the administrative process. Problem formulation 1) How is the implementation of Public services at the Village Head Office of Koto Nan Tigo Utara Surantih, Pesisir Selatan Regency? 2) What are the obstacles faced by the Village Head in providing Public services at the Village Head Office of Koto Nan Tigo Utara Surantih, Pesisir Selatan Regency? 3) What are the efforts made by the Village Head in providing Public services at the Village Head Office of Nan Tigo Utara Surantih, Pesisir Selatan Regency? The research method uses a sociological legal research method. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are through documentation studies and interviews, then data are analyzed with qualitative analysis. Research results 1) Public services at the Koto Nan Tigo Utara Surantih Village Head's Office have basically been running through administrative services, principles of justice and preservation, public service standards, free guarantees and facilities and infrastructure. 2) However, the effectiveness of services is still limited by limited human resources, facilities and infrastructure, technology and internet infrastructure, low digital literacy, lack of socialization and lack of public understanding of administrative procedures. 3) To overcome this, the village government is improving human resources, improving facilities and infrastructure, improving infrastructure, increasing literacy. Building a work culture and implementing service standards
