PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM KORBAN KEKERASAN DALAM RUMAH TANGGA (KDRT) DENGAN CINDERELLA SYNDROM OLEH P2TP2A DI KOTA PADANG

Abstract

The Integrated Service Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children (P2TP2A) is a service unit that provides protection for women and children, including victims of domestic violence experiencing Cinderella Syndrome, as regulated in Article 1 Point 27 of Padang City Regional Regulation Number 12 of 2019 concerning Child-Friendly Cities. Cases handled by P2TP2A Padang City include a case of a woman who experienced domestic violence in the Kuranji area. The research problems are: 1) How is legal protection provided to victims of domestic violence with Cinderella Syndrome?; 2) What obstacles are faced by P2TP2A in providing legal protection to victims of domestic violence with Cinderella Syndrome?.This research uses an empirical juridical research method; The data sources consist of primary data and secondary data; Data collection techniques include interviews and document studies; The collected data were analyzed qualitatively. The conclusions are: 1) P2TP2A Padang City has provided legal protection in the form of legal assistance, psychological assistance, counseling, and referrals to health and social services; 2) however, in its implementation, several obstacles were found, including victims’ low legal awareness, victims’ psychological dependence on the perpetrator, limited P2TP2A budget, and limited Human resources.
