PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM MAKAN BERGIZI GRATIS (MBG) BERDASARKAN PERATURAN PRESIDEN NOMOR 83 TAHUN 2024 TENTANG BADAN GIZI NASIONAL (STUDI KASUS SATUAN PELAYANAN PEMENUHAN GIZI (SPPG) SITEBA, KECAMATAN NANGGALO KOTA PADANG)

Abstract

Fulfillment of good nutrition is an important investment for the future of the nation, because
the younger generation will be the successors of sustainable development. According to
Presidential Regulation Number 83 of 2024 which is tasked with designing policies,
coordinating and implementing national nutrition programs, including Free Nutritious
Meals. Problem formulation: 1) How is the Implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal
Program (MBG) Based on Presidential Regulation 83 of 2024 concerning the National
Nutrition Agency (Case Study of SPPG Siteba, Nanggalo District, Padang City)? 2) What are
the Obstacles in the Implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) Based on
Presidential Regulation 83 of 2024 concerning the National Nutrition Agency (Case Study of
SPPG Siteba, Nanggalo District, Padang City)? 3) What are the efforts to resolve obstacles
in the implementation of the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) based on Presidential
Regulation 83 of 2024 concerning the National Nutrition Agency (Case Study of SPPG
Siteba, Nanggalo District, Padang City)? The research method uses sociological juridical
data, with primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques through
document studies, interviews, and data analyzed with qualitative analysis. Research results:
1) Implemented through several stages of activities, 2) Obstacles in the Implementation of the
MBG Program, a. Limited MBG Kitchen Infrastructure, b. Investment Constraints and
MSME Involvement, c. Food Safety Risks, 3) Efforts to Resolve Obstacles in the
Implementation of the MBG Program, a. Gradual Expansion and Addition of MBG Kitchens,
b. Appointment of Nutrition Experts in Each SPPG, c. Utilization of State/Regional Owned
Kitchens and Facilities.
