Legal Protection for Prisoners has the right to health services while in Batusangkar II B Detention Center. Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2022 concerning Corrections in Article 9 letter (d) emphasizes that prisoners have the right to receive adequate health services and food according to nutritional needs. Problem Formulation: 1) What is the form of legal protection for prisoners in health rights services at Batusangkar II B Detention Center? 2) What are the obstacles in health rights services for prisoners at Batusangkar II B Detention Center? 3) What efforts are made by Batusangkar II B Detention Center to overcome obstacles in fulfilling health service rights for prisoners? Type of research: sociological juridical, primary data sources and secondary data. Data collection techniques: interviews and document studies. Data were analyzed qualitatively. Research Results 1) The form of legal protection for prisoners in health rights services is that the detention center provides primary clinic facilities, routine health checks, and regular food provision. 2) Obstacles in health rights services for prisoners in detention centers include incomplete medical equipment and a small budget. 3) Efforts made by the Batusangkar II B Detention Center to overcome the obstacles in making a notification report to the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections regarding the shortage of medical equipment at the primary clinic of Batusangkar II B Detention Center.
