Legal protection for workers who are laid off has the aim of ensuring the continuity of the employment relations system without pressure from various parties. Therefore, entrepreneurs are obliged to implement the provisions regarding protection in accordance with applicable legislation. Problem formulation: 1) How are the rights of workers or workers who are dismissed unilaterally based on Law Number 6 of 2023 protected? The research method used is normative law, data collection techniques. Document study, namely collecting, examining and tracing documents or literature that can provide information or information needed by researchers. Research data consists of secondary data. Research results: 1) Law Number 6 of 2023 can provide a legal basis for employers to carry out layoffs for certain reasons, but it is mandatory for employers to fulfill the normative rights of workers in accordance with the provisions of statutory regulations. The protection of these rights is realized through mechanisms to prevent layoffs, employers' obligations in paying workers' rights, 2) In Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning compensation for rights which states that replacement of housing as well as treatment and care is set at 15% (fifteen percent) of severance pay and/or service pay for those who meet the requirements, this has been removed in Law Number 6 of 2023
