Abstract

ABSTRAK

 The capital market plays an important role in encouraging national economic growth through the mobilization of public funds to finance business activities. In practice, stock transactions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange are carried out through securities companies acting as broker-dealers, one of which is PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia. However, there are still investors who do not fully understand the mechanisms of stock transactions, stock price movements, and the use of available trading facilities. The problem formulations in this research are: (1) What is the role of PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia in facilitating stock trading transactions for capital market investors? (2) What obstacles are faced by PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia in providing services to capital market investors? (3) What efforts are made by PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia to overcome these obstacles in serving capital market investors? This research uses a socio-legal (juridical sociological) approach. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data, collected through interviews and document studies. The data were analyzed qualitatively.The results show that: (1) PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia acts as an intermediary in securities trading by providing services such as securities account opening, an online-based stock trading system, market information, and investment education for the public. (2) The obstacles faced include stock price fluctuations, the low level of understanding among some investors regarding investment risks, and risks related to data security and digital transactions. (3) The efforts made to overcome these obstacles include improving trading system technology, strengthening data and digital transaction security, and conducting continuous investor education and assistance programs.
