PROSES PENYIDIKAN TERHADAP TINDAK PIDANA PENIPUAN MELALUI SHORT MESSAGA SERVICE (SMS) DIKOTA BUKITTINGGI

Science and technology is critical because science and technology have entered all fields , the development of science and Technology ( Science and Technology) has a huge bearing on the pattern of human behavior in daily life once taboo has now become commonplace or familiar place. Issues raised in this study are : ( 1 ) How can the process of criminal fraud investigation through sms ? and ( 2 ) Constraints faced by investigators in the investigation of criminal fraud via sms ? and ( 3 ) Efforts made by investigators in overcoming obstacles encountered in the process of investigating acts of fraud pidan via sms ? This study used socio-juridical approach . Data used include primary data and secondary data , the data obtained by the study of documents and interviews . Data were analyzed qualitatively . From the research concluded : Process investigation of cases of fraud in the form of SMS continues to be intensified by the presence of the Police Bukittinggi , Reporting , arrests , and investigations . Obstacles encountered include: many victims do not report , less public trust in the police , infrastructure that belongs to the police , the constraints of the bank , the difficulty of obtaining evidence . Efforts to overcome the obstacles in the investigation is to prepare , personnel , facilities infrastructures , cooperation and coordination , socialization and training .
