INVESTMENT IN TOURISM SECTOR AT THE AREA OF NATURAL TOURISM PARK (TWA) HARAU VALLEY, HARAU DISTRICT, REGENCY OF 50 KOTA
Abstract
Natural Tourism Park (TWA) is a Tourism Forest that is enriched by diversity of plants and animals as well as the beauty of nature that is utilized for recreation and cultural interests. The management was organized by BKSDA and Regional Government (Pemda). TWA has a potency to be developed by having investment. The identification of problems in this research contains: (1) Why did TWA become a choice of investors in investment, particularly in tourism sector? (2) What stages that should be conducted by the investors over the investment in TWA? (3) What were the obstacles faced by the investors in the process implementing investment and after investment in TWA?. A type of research was socio-juridical. Data that was utilized includes primary data that was obtained from interview and secondary data that was obtained from document study. The entire data obtained was analyzed in qualitative. From research result, it can be concluded that (1) the preservation of natural as a result of conservation functional that was conducted by BKSDA and the development of tourism by the regional government opens an opportunity for investment. (2) Stages that should be conducted were processing the permit includes deed of business establishment, permit letter of trading business, taxpayers’ registration number, a letter equity ownership, company profile and business activity and register to regional government. (3) Land as a business area and the limitation of fund budget is aimed for business development.
