Abstract

ABSTRACT

Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative West Sumatra province has an important role in safeguarding the rights of society education in the province of West Sumatra maladministration of actions undertaken by institutions or parties who injure the rights of society education. Issues to be discussed are: (1) What is the duties and authority of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative West Sumatra province in the resolution of the report regarding cases of maladministration in the field of education? (2) forms of the completion of the report what has been done by the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative West Sumatra province on cases of maladministration in the field of education during the years 2013-2014? (3) How is the follow-up to the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative West Sumatra province after the completion of the reports ?. To answer the above problems, the author conducted research with juridical sociological research methods that use primary data in the form of interviews, secondary data from the annual report documents the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of West Sumatra province. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively. From the research it can be concluded: (1) The Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative West Sumatra province referring to the provisions of the Act 37 of 2008 on the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia in the completion of 124 reports in the field of education during the years 2013 to 2014 (2) forms of the completion reports made Ombudsman Representative of the Republic of Indonesia West Sumatra province on cases of maladministration in the field of education during the years 2013-2014 is an investigation, a written clarification and monitoring (3) Follow-up of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative West Sumatra province after the completion of the report is the delivery of advice / recommendation.
