Abstract

ABSTRACT Banks do not just ask for collateral material but also sought assurances Certificate of employment, the debtor must insure his soul as a condition to obtain consumer credit. Problems studied is : 1) How is the implementation of the closure of the life insurance as collateral granting consumer credit at PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk branch Solok, 2)  How is the implementation of life insurance claims filing on PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk Branch Solok?, 3) What is the reason PT. BNI (Persero) Tbk branch Solok make life insurance as a condition to get credit?, This type of research is sociological juridical, primary data from interviews with the bank and the debtor 5, and the primary data and secondary data were analyzed qualitatively, The survey results revealed was, 1) Insurance coverage carried by the bank, its staff and the policy carried out by the bank controlled by the bank, 2) filing insurance claims heirs only complete terms, the claims made by the bank pays principal and SK warranty claims can be left to heirs, 3) The reason life insurance as a condition for obtaining credit is a banking protection in rescue loans.
