Abstract
ABSTRACT
Is part of the municipal police in the area of enforcement of regulations and implementation of public order and public tranquility. Municipal police duties and obligations stipulated in Padang Regional Regulation No. 16 Year 2012 on the Establishment of Organization and Working Procedure of Civil Service Police Unit. Municipal police are obliged to curb violations committed by street vendors who leave items to sell because it is used as a shelter for street vendors. Formulation of the problem 1) What is the role of municipal police in conducting the control of street of this study are vendors who wears Street Vendors location for residential activities in Padang? 2) whether the constraints faced by municipal police in conducting the control of street vendors who wears Street Vendors location for residential activities in Padang? The approach used was the sosio legal approach. Sources of data were primary data and secondary data. Data collected by interviews, questionnaires and document study. Data were analyzed qualitatively. Conclusion The results of the study 1) The role of municipal police in conducting the control of street vendors who use trade as a residence locations that perform a variety of actions including preventive, repressive and curative measures. 2) Constraints in conducting enforcement actions undertaken by the municipal police is the number of street vendors who do not obey the Padang Regional Regulation No. 3 Year 2014.
