Peranan Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal & Pelayanan Perizinan Terpadu Provinsi Sumatera Barat (BKPM & PPT) dalam Meningkatkan Investasi Asing Di Sumatera Barat Menurut Agreement On Trade-Related Investment Measures (TRIMs)
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Globalization of international trade is an important aspect in the growth of the economy of every country in the world. In supporting the economy of a country, it is necessary to increase investment in regional settings. As one of the province of West Sumatra in Indonesia is still quite favorable when compared to other provinces in Sumatra Islands. The formulation of the problem is how the arrangement foreign investment in Indonesia, what role BKPM & PPT West Sumatra province in increasing foreign investment in West Sumatra according to the Agreement On Trade-Related Investment Measures (TRIMs)? The research method used is a sociological approach, namely as an approach to the law as a norm or rule, and legal approaches to the society in the sense of seeing the realities that exist in the community. Based on the results of the study, investors in investing activities in the province of West Sumatra Period 2010-2014 still show a significant improvement, marked by fluctuating investment approval, but the realization of foreign investment be seen from development investment from 2010 to 2011 has increased very significant ranging from 17 approvals until 32 approval of investors in investing, but fell back in 2011 to 2014 it is due to lack of availability of accurate information and the lack of planning documents to support investment, where the results of the study submitted gets promotion and cooperation for promotion opportunities existing investment in West Sumatra..
