Child protection are all activities to ensure and protect children and their rights in order to live, grow, develop and participate optimally in accordance with human dignity, as well as protection from violence and discrimination in Article 1 Item 3 of Law No. 35 Year 2014 Child Protection Problems: (1) How is the consideration of judges to the father as the perpetrators of maltreatment to the child in case No. 17/Pid.B/2013/PN/.Blt ?. (2) How criminal liability in the case of a father who committed abuses against children in Case Number: 17/ Pid.B/2013/PN.Blt? This study uses normative legal research, reviewing the decision No. 17/Pid.B / 2013/PN.Blt. Data collection techniques through the study of documents and the data was analyzed qualitatively. Conclusions of research results. 1) Consideration of judges in decisions in this Case. in accordance with the provisions stipulated in Article 183 Criminal Procedure Code in the form of three evidence the witness statements, letters and testimony from the accused so that judges gain confidence that the accused as perpetrators of persecution 2) criminal responsibility in this case to imprisonment for 5 (five) years and a fine of Rp , 75.000.000, - provided that if fines are not paid to be replaced with imprisonment for 3 (three) months.
