PENANGGULANGAN HUKUM TERHADAP TINDAK PIDANA KEKERASAN YANG DILAKUKAN OLEH PELAJAR (STUDI KASUS POLRESTA PADANG)
Abstract
Students are an important asset for a country, since students are the next generation of a nation that must be nurtured properly, so as not to fall into promiscuity or delinquency, such as the case of a fight between students who use weapons in the depths Minturun town field, hence the need to regulations governing the crime of mischief students namely, Law number 11 of 2012 in order to provide a deterrent effect on the perpetrators of acts of violence committed by students. The problems studied were: 1) how penaggulangan laws against crimes of violence committed by students in the jurisdiction of Police Padang, 2) what are the constraints faced by the police in tackling crimes of violence committed by students in the city of Padang. The method used is the socio legal research. This study used the primary data and secondary data. Data were collected through interviews and document study. Data were analyzed qualitatively. From the results of the study showed that: 1) legal remedies against criminal acts of violence committed by students by conducting raids, disperse students who gathered in certain places, and make arrests for students who bring weapons 2) the constraints faced by the police in countering criminal violence committed by students, namely students attacked the police, they fled when the arrests, and the difficulty of getting information triggers a brawl.
