PERANAN KEPOLISIAN DALAM MENANGGULANGI KEJAHATAN SEKSUAL YANG DILAKUKAN OLEH REMAJA (Studi Kasus di Polresta Padang)

Abstract

Sexual crimes committed by juveniles in violation of Article 287-292 Criminal Code that lately is very worrying. Formulation of the problem: (1) What is the role of the police in tackling sexual crimes committed teenagers? (2) Are the constraints faced by the police in tackling the sexual crimes committed by juveniles? (3) Is the attempt to overcome the obstacles faced by the police in tackling sexual crimes committed teenagers. This study used sosio-legal approach. Data used include primary and secondary data, data were collected trough interviews and document study. Data analized qualitativety. The results of the study are (1) Prevention of sexual crimes committed by juveniles, the police did by raiding places frequented by teenagers as the cafe-cafe. (2) Constraints faced by the police is unable to perform countermeasures sexual crimes committed by teenagers themselves having to work sema with other parties such as the family, school. (3) Efforts are being made to overcome these obstacles is to create a joint program on a regular basis to be disseminated about the dangers of committing a crime to make a positive event for teens.
