Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to describe the difference of learning outcomes of science students between the application of learning models Talking Stick with the application of conventional learning in class IV SD Negeri 20 Kurao Pagang. The research method is experiment. The population in this study were all students of grade IV of SD Negeri 20 kurao pagang, sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. Experiment class is class IV.a while control class IV.b. The instrument used is a test of learning outcomes. The analysis performed with normality test, homogeneity, and hypothesis with the help of SPSS software version 17.0 from the results of student research using Talking Stick learning model higher with the average score of learning outcomes 81.04 and students using conventional learning is lower with the value The average completeness of learning outcome 73,81 and hypothesis test result equal to 0,007 <0,05. So it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes of science students between the application of learning models Talking Stick with the application of conventional learning in class IV SD Negeri 20 Kurao Pagang.
