PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI MODEL TAKE AND GIVE DI SD NEGERI 03 PELANGAI GADANG KECAMATAN RANAH PESISIR KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

ABSTRACT
This research is motivated by the low motivation and the result of the fourth grade student learning at SDN 03 Pelangai Gadang, Ranah Pesisir Subdistrict of South Pesisir Regency on the subject of IPA. The purpose of this research is to describe the increase of motivation and the result of science learning of fourth grade students by using Take and Give model in SDN 03 Pelangai Gadang Subdistrict Ranah Pesisir Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which is implemented in two cycles. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of SDN 03 Pelangai Gadang, Ranah Pesisir Pesisir Subdistrict of South Pesisir Regency, which amounted to 22 people. Based on the results of research, the average percentage of student motivation in the inquiry increased from cycle I 50.75%, increased to 78.02% in cycle II. The average percentage of students' motivation in answering questions increased from cycle I 48.48%, increasing to 75.75% in cycle II. The average percentage of student motivation in discussions increased from cycle I 49.23%, increasing to 76.51% in cycle II. While the students' cognitive domain learning achievement comprehension aspect with 59,09% completeness percentage in cycle I, cycle II with student completeness presentse increased to 81,81%. Thus it can be concluded the motivation of students in asking, answering questions, discussion and student learning outcomes using the model Take and Give can increase. Researchers suggest that teachers can use appropriate learning model and appropriate, one of them by using model Take and Give in improving motivation and student learning outcomes.
