This study aims to describe the difference of science learning outcomes between the application of Quantum Teaching learning model with the application of conventional learning in the fourth grade of SDN 03 Simpang Koto XI Tarusan Pesisir Selatan District in the academic year 2016/2017. The research method used is experiment. The population in this study were students of grade IV SDN 03 Simpang Koto XI Tarusan which amounted to 45 people, sample selection technique using Saturated Sampling. In this case the experimental class is class IV A while the control class is IV B. In this study, the instrument used is a test of learning outcomes. Data analysis was done by normality test, homogeneity, and hypothesis with the help of SPSS version 17.00 software. The result of the research of the students using Quantum Teaching learning model has the average of 87,27 study result and the students using conventional learning have the average of learning result 79,13 and the hypothesis test result is 0,013 or <0,05. Then it can be concluded that there are differences in the learning outcomes of science between application of learning model Quantum Teaching with the application of conventional learning in grade IV SDN 03 Simpang Koto XI Tarusan. Based on research results suggested that teachers can use Quantum Teaching learning model to improve the learning process of learners.
