Abstract

 

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Inside Outside Circle model on the learning outcomes of class V students in the cognitive domain of IPS learning at SD Negeri 08 SurauGadangSiteba Padang. This type of research is experimental, with a randomized study design on the subject. Population in this research is all student of class V SD Negeri 08 SurauGadangSiteba Padang year lesson 2016/2017. The technique used for sampling is the total sampling technique, the VB class as the experimental class and the VA class as the control class. The instrument used in this study is the final test. The form of the test used in the form of objective with the reliability of the test is r11 = 0.85. Data analysis technique is done using t test. Based on the result of data analysis, the average of learning result of experiment class student is 80,46 higher than control class that is 74,62. From the results of the hypothesis test obtained tcount>ttable = 2.06> 2.01. So, it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes of IPS students of class V SD Negeri 08 SurauGadangSiteba Padang, academic year 2016/2017 on the use of Inside Outside Circle learning model with conventional learning methods.
