THE INCREMENT OF STUDENT’S INTEREST AND LEARNING RESULTS OF SCIENCE, CLASS V STUDENTS THROUGH GENIUS LEARNING MODEL AT SD NEGERI 29 ULAK KARANG PADANG
Abstrak
This research is written for the purpose to describing : 1) The increment of student‟s interest in asking questions, answering and giving responses to other students, 2) the increment of result in student‟s study of natural science using “genius learning†method Gunawan (2003) in grade V SD Negeri 29 Ulak Karang Padang. The theory of this research wich is used is opinion Hamalik (2003), about interest in learning Sadirman (2007), about study result Hamalik (2007), and Gunawan (2003) about Genius Learning. The increment of interest from cycle I 62,8% increase becomes 83,8%. According to the research is found these matters, First, interest aspect increase, which is (1) „want to ask‟ increase from 62,8% in cycle I to 83,8% in cycle II, (2) „want to answer the question‟ increase from 58% in cycle I to 77,3% in cycle II, (3) „respon to friend‟s opinion‟ increase from 54,8% in cycle I to 74,2% in cycle II. Second, so do study result aspect increase from average score 79,8 with completeness percentage 64,5 to average score 85 with completeness percentage 83,9. We can conclude that student‟s interest and result of study in natural science grade V SD Negeri 29 Ulak karang Padang can be increased with using “genius learning†method.
