Abstract

 

The purpose of this study is to describe the difference of students' learning outcomes between the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together (NHT) with the application of conventional learning in class IV SD Negeri 43 Sungai Sapih Padang City academic year 2016/2017. The research method is experiment. Population in this research is all student / student of class IV counted 60 people, sample selection technique use purposive sampling. In this case the experimental class is class IV A while class control class IV B. The instrument used is a test of learning outcomes. Data analysis was performed with normality test, average equality, homogeneity, and hypetosis with the help of SPSS software version 17.00. The results showed that using the Numbered Head Together learning model has a mean of 83.41 learning outcomes and the students using conventional learning have an average learning outcome of 75.90, and hypothesis test results of 0.049 or <0.05. So it can be concluded that there are differences in students' learning outcomes between the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together (NHT) with the application of conventional learning in grade IV SD Negeri 43 Sungai Sapih Kota Padang.
