PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI LABORATORIUM KOMPUTER BERBASIS WEB DI PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK INFORMATIKA DAN KOMPUTER

Abstrak

This study aims to simplify the management of computer laboratory using computer-based information system of computer laboratory in the computer Engginering and Education Department. Web-based information systems provide lecturer profiles, tools and materials management, borrowing and tool retrieval, value processing, course and absent pratikum, as well as the management of pratikum schedules and modules. To perform the analysis and design of this information system, using waterfall method with several stages such as analysis, design, coding and testing. At the coding stage the author uses Hypertext Pre-Processor (PHP) programming language, using MySQL database and Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. The result of this design is a web-based computer lab information system that can be accessed online. It can be concluded that this web-based laboratory information system provides convenience in laboratory management activities and eliminates time and place limits in obtaining computer lab information. This information system can also be developed further and can be used in different laboratories.
